I'll vote for Red Fox Wizbook 8" because of the price. I understand that UMPC is targeted for those with basic computing needs and wants to have a portable device. Reasonable enough, wizbook 8" is best for my basic computing needs.

I'll go for MSI wind also for the specs it offers...but the price is equivalent to a decent laptop na...

your right! I've also seen the UMPC of redfox, its cool though. but the specs is just enough for surfing/inet needs. good choice for you starfish.

I love Acer Aspire One's form factor and it price but there's a lot of bad feedback on its performance specially if one installs Win XP as its OS.

I'm more inclined on getting the Asus Eee 701 instead since I'm just a basic user anyway with videos on the side for entertainment. Win XP runs well with the Eee.

How's the performance of the Redfox Wizbook? Can it play .avi video files? Thanks!

yes it can play, and surfing is quite good never had problems with it so far. im using the xp os. i replaced the linux because its a bit slow but when i installed xp home the speed improved..
